“Breakfast of Champions" before Parade Day Celebrations? YES!

Something old is new again at the Annual 54th Santa Clara Parade of Champions on Saturday, October 7th and it is taking place this year at the American Legion 419 (AL419), located at 958 Homestead Road before the parade from 8am to 11am.

Bring the family, your friends and appetite before strolling over to Parade Day festivities in the historic downtown center. AL419’s Chef Brenda Manley is known for her famous “First Sunday of the Month” breakfast that includes a wide array of morning favorites like pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, coffee, tea, orange juice and a good old fashioned fruit cocktail.

The American Legion 419 has a long history of veterans helping veterans since 1932. If you haven’t been to this long time landmark at the center of our historic downtown, no better time than on Parade Day.

Tickets are available online for $12 at www.scparadeofchampions.org or pay cash at the door. The Funds raised from this delicious breakfast will go to support SCPOC charitable initiatives for our Veteran friends at the AL419.
