2019 Parade Day FAQ

  • What day and time does the SCPOC festivities start?

    • The Santa Clara Parade of Champions is a free event to attend.The parade Route area will be closed to traffic between 10am to 1pm. If you want in an out privilege it recommended you park outside of the Parade Route area and walk to the Festivities.

    • The Day’s Events start at 9am and runs until 3pm.Parade will be from 11am to 1pm. Please bring your own chair. Street Food and Vendors at SC Farmers Market are located on Jackson Street, and interactive activities will be located throughout the Homestead Community Village booths on Homestead Road including an Earthquakes Sports and Kid zone. Franklin Square also offers a variety of restaurants and shops.

  • Where is the Parade Route? 

    • Parade Staging will be at Buchser Middle School 1111 Bellomy Street. This is a restricted area for just participants.If you are a Participant in the Parade and received a logistics packet and have questions please contact Ray Pulver for drop off and pick up points (upbeatparades@aol.com)

    • Parade will go down Lafayette Street past Santa Clara University, left on Benton, left on Monroe pass the Judges review grandstand area and VIP Bleachers on Monroe Street at Franklin Square, and then returns to its starting point at Buchser Middle School.

  • Where do I park? 

    • The Santa Clara University is offering free Parking until 9pm at their 1063 Alviso Street Garage off Benton Street. There is also Free Parking in the Neighborhoods around the Parade Route. 

  • Road Closures for the parade begin at 10am and will run until after 1pm.

    • If you want the ability to come and go during the SCPOC event be sure to park outside the Parade Route.  Should you park inside the parade route you will not be able to leave until the Parade is over.  For comments and Feedback please go to this link.
