The 56th Annual Santa Clara Parade of Champions Festival is the community “Kickoff” to celebrate community spirit, heroes, and our long history of sports as the Bay Area prepares for Super Bowl 60 and the FIFA World Cup in 2026. Our nonprofit event is rooted in legacy since 1945, where we honored our WWII Veterans, Champions, our History, Community and front-line heroes!
Sports is also a big part of our legacy. Did you know that since 1920, Santa Clara has produced 77 Olympians, and many Sports Legends? Visit the NEW Sports Legend Museum Booth in the Sports Zone to learn more about Santa Clara’s long history in Sports.
What is the New Sports FAN Zone? It’s where Community meets their Champions! The stage is set for entertainment on Jackson Street at the Heart of Historic Downtown. Expect in the Sports FAN Zone activations that feature our Bay Area’s favorite pro teams, Mascots, Cheer Squads, Alumni, and performance groups, and our youth sports league Champions—there are games, prizes, give aways, interactive booths, food trucks, restaurants, and on the Stage—music by DJ Macala to keep the energy high!

Each year, we proudly feature a nostalgic PRIZE MONEY Contest that awards MONEY for Floats, Dance, Drill Teams, Marching Units, and Community Bands - a spirited showcase where our nonprofit gives back to the talented performers, many youth groups, who bring energy, culture, talent and creativity to our parade streets. Add to our signature parade, the community village booths, the NEW Sports FAN Zone, gourmet food trucks, live performances, and family fun — and you’ve got a festival that will spark joy and leave a powerful legacy of building community.
