Santa Clara’s Biggest Year in Sports History Kicks Off October 4th! 🎉
Mark your calendars, sports fans—Saturday, October 4, 2025, is about to make history in Santa Clara!
The 56th Annual Santa Clara Parade of Champions & Festival returns bigger, bolder, and more action-packed than ever before. This year, the event isn’t just a celebration—it’s the official community kickoff to the biggest year in sports history as Santa Clara welcomes both the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup to our city.
Introducing the All-New Sports Fan Zone
For the first time ever, the Parade is debuting the Sports Fan Zone—a high-energy, interactive hub for fans of all ages! We’ve invited all the Bay Area’s pro sports teams and local youth leagues to come together in one place for a day of celebration, fun, and connection. Santa Clara has a long history of Sports legends and Olympians!
Here’s what you’ll find in the Sports FAN Entertainment Zone:
🎯 Interactive Booths & Skill Games – Test your skills and score big.
🎁 Swag, Prizes & Giveaways – Take home exclusive team merch.
⚽ Live Demos & Performances – Get up close with the pros and youth athletes.
🍔 Food Trucks – Fuel up with tasty eats from local favorites.
🎶 On-Stage DJ Macala – Keeping the energy high all afternoon.
And yes—your favorite Bay Area teams will be there: San Francisco 49ers, Bay FC, San Jose Earthquakes, and our local Youth Champions too!
Parade + Festival + Fan Zone = All-Day Fun
The Parade steps off in Downtown Santa Clara, marching with champions, community heroes, and Bay Area icons. After the parade at 11 AM, the Sports Fan Zone takes over Jackson Street at Franklin Square with activities running until 5:00 PM.
This is a rare and unforgettable year—Santa Clara has never hosted two world-class sporting events in the same season. Not everyone can get tickets to the Super Bowl or FIFA, but on October 4th, everyone can be part of the celebration right here in the heart of our city.
Don’t miss it. Be part of history. Celebrate our champions. Celebrate Santa Clara.
