Its official: Krazy George is a 2021 Grand Marshal

A one-of-kind for a one-of-a-kind year...I think we can all use a little Cheer!

Many remember George Henderson as a Electronics Teacher at Buchser High School in 1975. But did you know that he also was a member of the National Championship Judo Team and the inventor of the "Wave"? His "Wave" act even landed him as a contestant on the 10th season of America's Got Talent. George is fearless when it comes to exciting the crowds and helping his team and fans win. A talent that has led him to a long career as a professional Cheerleader--many of those years supporting our local soccer team, the Earthquakes.

George is looking forward to firing up the crowds on Parade Day! Join us in celebrating our Community and Frontline heroes on October 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the historic Downtown. Festivities will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our latest Parade Program is posted online with everything you need to know to plan your day with family and friends. Bring a lawn chair or reserve a bleacher seat. This year we are offering $30 Bleacher seats as a Fundraiser to help cover our yearly parade costs. Tickets can be bought at our website store via PayPal. Grateful for your support of our nonprofit parade year after year.

Thank you for your great support of our 52nd Santa Clara Parade of Champions. We can't wait to see you there!

Santa Clara Parade of Champions

Since 1945, the SCPOC has brought Santa Clarans together to showcase their Champions from Sports, Civic and Business leaders, Culture and Arts, to Entertainment and now Tech. The entire city would gather in its Historic Downtown (founded in 1852) to celebrate their heritage, community spirit, and pride every year. It has been one of the longest-running unifying events in the history of Santa Clara. Lifelong Memories were made, and community bonds strengthened for generations to follow.
